We rely on donations of unwanted IT equipment that we can refurbish and use in our community projects or sell on cheaply. If you or your organisation can help, please get in touch. We refurbish and re-use as much as we can, then responsibly dispose of anything we can’t use to a recycling company. Unfortunately we cannot accept CRT monitors as they take up loads of space and are notoriously difficult to dispose of – if you’re desperate for us to take them a £5 per monitor fee will be charged. We also don’t generally accept inkjet printers, as in our experience very few (20%-ish) of those donated are fully working or repairable (they are built to fail after a few years.)
Donations by bank transfer or Paypal are also welcome and will be put to good use providing upcycled computers for the community. If you want to donate cash, please let us know when you visit (there should be a donations tin on the counter.)

If you’re interested in working with computer hardware and software, learning new skills and getting involved in the day-to-day running of a co-operative that aims to help the community and the environment, please fill in and submit this form.
Be aware that:
1. Due to the small number of staff in our organisation and the need for a high level of supervision when volunteers are working with electronic equipment, volunteer places are very limited and it will not be possible to take on everyone who enquires.
2. There is a waiting list, so we may not contact you straight away.
3. To fill in the form you will need to supply the name and address of a character reference who we WILL contact before you start volunteering with us.
